Cedar Address Sign
A client asked for a unique address sign for his home in Carnation. We managed to locate a slab of cedar that had been drying for years in the back yard of their neighbors house.
The slab was flattened using a CNC machine, which was also used to add the numbers. A black epoxy surround was added to each number to help is stand out when viewed from a distance.
In order to allow the numbers to be illuminated at night, a sheet of HDPE plastic was mounted offset from the back side of the sign, and when lit with a landscape light, allows for a remarkably distinguished view.
