Water Droplet Sculpture

This custom water droplet sculpture is a one-of-a-kind creation, which combines the natural beauty of this wood's figure, and the elegance of the water's patterns. This pattern was designed using a CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) program to mimic the symmetric pattern generated by a water droplet. The combination of the wood grain patterns and shape of the design create a degree of movement in the piece that is difficult to capture in a picture. 

 

This piece now adorns this client's Airbnb, and brings a stylish gracefulness to the decor of their space. ​

Each piece is built in Emergent Woodworks design studio, tucked within the trees of Carnation Washington.
